This week we welcomed a number of schools into the IQM Family. Let’s give a big shout-out to Grange Park School in Wrotham, Ponteland Primary School in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Fullbrook Nursery School in Walsall, and St Helen’s Catholic Primary School in London.
Grange Park School
Grange Park School has achieved the Inclusive School Award with Flagship Status. Ponteland PS
Over in Newcastle Upon Tyne Ponteland PS also secured the Inclusive School Award with Flagship Status.
This friendly school loves to break the mould when it comes education.
One Ponteland parent spoke about the school in glowing terms. They explained, “None of my kids have ever not wanted to go to school, they can’t wait to go to school. I don’t have any worries – they feel safe enough that if there was an issue, they could speak to someone, and it would get sorted. You don’t really know your child and when you see school reports it really shows a side of them that you can celebrate and know that they are really doing well.”

Fullbrook Nursery School
Fullbrook Nursery School was delighted to achieve IQM’s Inclusive School Award. The West Midlands school has a strong learning culture. Our Assessor noted this culture was exemplified by one member of staff who explained “there is a no-blame culture here, which creates a deep reflection on our practice, but it took a long time to move away from our old ways. Co-regulation is really important to help us understand the pupils. If we are uncertain about something we ask each other and solve problems like that.”

St Helen’s Catholic
Primary School
Finally St Helen’s Catholic Primary School secured the Inclusive School Award with Flagship Status. Our Assessor explained there is a real feeling of warmth and welcome when you visit the London school. They concluded, “It was such a pleasure to visit St Helen’s Catholic Primary School and meet its staff, parents, and pupils. The School should be particularly proud of their pupils who were so polite and friendly and spoke very positively about their school”.
