Inclusion Quality Mark provides UK schools with a nationally recognised validation of their inclusive practice and ongoing commitment to developing educational inclusion.
There are three award levels, beginning with the IQM Inclusive School Award. Two higher award levels are available to schools that continue to grow and develop their practice in conjunction with other like-minded schools – IQM Centre of Excellence Award and IQM Flagship School Award.
Working towards IQM Accreditation starts with registration
Once registered with IQM your school will be invited to complete the IQM Evaluative Framework; an evidence-based tool designed to encourage a process of self-evaluation and improvement. Support and feedback is provided throughout the process by the team at IQM. Completed Framework documents will be referred to at assessment stage and must demonstrate that Inclusion has a school-wide impact and is sustainable.
