The Suffolk Primary Headteachers’ Association and the Suffolk Education Partnership are making IQM one of the focal points of its Open Schools Week.
Share Inclusive Practice
Scheduled to take place from Tuesday, 7th November to Friday, 10th November the Open Week aims to allow schools in the area to establish connections and make sure they are the best they can be.
The Open Week centres around a number of schools in Suffolk which already hold the Inclusive School Award with Centre of Excellence status. These exceptional schools are preparing to open their doors to allow anyone interested to come and have a look around their premises and ask any questions they may have.
The schools preparing to share their best practice are:
• Tuesday 7th November: Clements Primary Academy, and Stanton Community PS;
• Wednesday 8th November: Castle Hill Infant and Junior School, and Kessingland CofE Primary Academy;
• Thursday 9th November: Thomas Gainsborough School, and Exning PS;
• Friday 10th November: Northfield St Nicholas Primary Academy, and Whitehouse PS.
All visits have been arranged for the morning and are expected to last around two hours.
Each morning will run along a relatively similar format in each school – a short introduction, a school tour, and then a time for some discussion, questions and reflections.
