Rebecca Gough
IQM Assessor
Rebecca Gough is an innovative, approachable and highly skilled educator. She has been working in education for over 20 years as a Teacher and as a trainer of Teachers.
Rebecca loves being in the classroom, working with young people of all ages, but equally enjoys collaborating with Teachers and Leaders from EYFS to KS4 to embed creative, collaborative, caring and critical thinking throughout their lessons, school ethos and curricula.
In 2004 Rebecca became one of the first Teachers in the UK to work as an accredited trainer for Sapere and since then has worked with a wide range of settings over many years to support their work in developing curricula, assessment and learning environments which are robust, inclusive and meaningful for all pupils. Rebecca is also accredited by Dialogue Works to deliver P4C+ and A-Z Metacognition training and the Arts Council of England to deliver and assess the Discover/Explore Arts Awards.
Rebecca co-founded the community interest company, Permanent Education CIC so that she can continue to deliver high quality training and professional development for schools and community groups but reach a wider range of individuals and settings through collaboration with public funders and local authorities.
She is a well respected School Governor for Kirklees Borough Council and an Arts Award Advisor (Discovery and Explore) for the Arts Council of England.
