Catherine Holt
IQM Assessor
Catherine Holt has worked in and with schools since 1978. She has a wealth of experience as a Teacher, Inclusion Manager, Deputy Head, Headteacher, Inclusion Adviser, Consultant and held senior roles within Local Authorities.
Catherine was seconded nationally, to work with Westminster, on the Special Educational Needs and Disability Act of both 2001 and 2014.
In her role as Advisory Teacher for the Virtual School for Looked After Children for Tower Hamlets, she was an associate of the Steering Committee for improving outcomes for the children, working closely with social workers and carers.
Catherine has led inclusion projects in Enfield and Tower Hamlets interrogating the Special Educational and Disability model of provision in place and whether it offered value for money and genuine improvement.
As an adviser for Inclusion for Enfield and an Annual Review Officer for Kingston and Richmond, Catherine has solid knowledge and understanding of legislation and guidance, policy and procedures in relation to SEN and Disability Code of Practice 2014.
