Here at Inclusion Quality Mark we are recruiting for new assessors to help us deliver our prestigious IQM awards to more and more schools.
To facilitate this we are holding a training day in the Clayton Hotel, Birmingham on 13 October.
We recruit from senior positions in schools/academies/local authorities to train as IQM assessors.
In the clip above one of our assessors Dr Kenny Frederick speaks about her experience as an IQM Assessor, why she finds the role so fulfilling and why she enjoys it so much.
Before her retirement Kenny was Principal of a large inclusive secondary school on the Isle of Dogs in East London. She is and has been for 25 years a Governor of a large inclusive Primary School on the Isle of Dogs and has been Chair of Governors for a number of years. She is also a Governor in another Primary School in a different London Borough.
Kenny took on and completed her Doctorate when she retired from headship and has completed her research in a number of schools. Her PHD is all about teaching and learning and peer observations.
