Introducing Castleway Nursery School: National Inclusion Champion 2025-26

November 12, 2025

At Castleway, inclusion isn’t an add-on—it’s who we are. Every child, every family, every voice matters, and we make sure that shows in everything we do. Our inclusive timetable ensures that all children can thrive, with movement breaks and processing time built in as standard, not as an afterthought. Across the school, calm and consistent learning spaces give every child the best chance to succeed.

Individuality is celebrated

Equality and diversity aren’t “initiatives” here—they’re just part of daily life. From the moment you walk through the door, it’s clear that Castleway is a community where individuality is celebrated and everyone belongs. Families are central to this, working hand in hand with us to support every child’s journey.

At the heart of Wirral life

Our role in the wider community is huge—we’re proud to be at the heart of Wirral life, championing inclusion well beyond our school gates. Being named Wirral’s School of the Year 2025 is testament to this impact, as is our Headteacher’s recognition as a Silver Finalist in the Pearson National Teaching Awards.

For us, inclusion isn’t a project—it’s ‘The Castle Way’. We’re proud to be recognised as a National Inclusion Champion for 2025/26, and prouder still of the children and families who make it all possible.
