At Oaklands Special School, Leicester, we are proud to be recognised as an Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) National Inclusion Champion School. As a specialist provision for SEND pupils with communication & interaction needs, including Autism, we are deeply committed to our UNIQUE values; fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and understanding.
Pupils celebrated for who they are
Our dedicated team works tirelessly to create a safe, nurturing environment where every pupil is celebrated for who they are, and where individual strengths are recognised & developed. We believe that inclusion goes beyond the classroom, and we actively promote Autism awareness and acceptance within the wider community through outreach, training, and collaborative projects with local schools and organisations.
Our pupils are at the heart of everything we do — their voices help shape our practice, and their achievements inspire our continued commitment to inclusive education.
