What are the UK IQM Awards?
The IQM Awards are designed to celebrate and strengthen inclusion within UK education, providing a clear framework for improvement.
All educational providers are eligible to apply for the Inclusive School Award, from small rural primaries to large Multi-Academy Trusts. Each school is assessed by an IQM Assessor (a highly qualified expert with extensive experience in education) who evaluates the setting against a nationally recognised evaluative framework. This ensures that the assessment is both rigorous and relevant to the UK educational landscape.
The process supports school leaders to reflect on their current inclusive practice, identify strengths, and address gaps in provision. The result is a clear, evidence-based path towards creating a more inclusive learning environment, one where every child feels valued and has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
