The school’s motto, ‘Empowering every heart, inspiring every mind’, is not simply aspirational language, it is clear that there is a palpable sense that inclusion sits at the heart of every aspect of the school’s work, from the curriculum and wider provision to professional development, family engagement and innovation.

Innovating Through Inclusion 

A real strength and unique element of the school’s inclusions focus is the ongoing work around Artificial Intelligence, where Stanhope has established itself as a leading voice both within Ealing and beyond. What makes this work exceptional is not only the innovation itself, but the way in which it is rooted in inclusion. Leaders are using AI with a clear focus on improving access, reducing barriers and enabling staff to respond more precisely to pupil need.

What was most impressive about the inclusive ethos of the school is that, while they are optimising the use of new technologies, they are clear that this does not replace the human element of teaching. Throughout the review there was strong evidence that pupils are known exceptionally well and that vulnerability is understood in a nuanced and highly personalised way. The Priority Provision Groups model, the growing use of BAT records, the careful tracking of participation and the breadth of pastoral and therapeutic support all reflect a school that seeks to understand children in the round. 

Every Voice Matters 

Pupil voice is also strong throughout the school, whether through Pupil Parliament, enrichment opportunities, the allyship curriculum or the Social Responsibility Matrix, pupils are given regular opportunities to lead, contribute and reflect. The school has also worked hard to ensure that these opportunities are genuinely inclusive and representative.
