Leaders demonstrate an exceptional knowledge and understanding of every pupil, enabling learning opportunities to be carefully planned and maximised so that pupils are fully engaged, achieve well and succeed. Environments Enable Success 

Across the academy, there is a consistent yet personalised approach to the use of working walls, low-sensory displays, visual timetables; Communication in Print (widgit), alongside employing a personalised approach to the use of continuous provision which is also soon to be introduced into Year 1 and in the new nurture provision; a space developed specifically to meet the needs of pupils who have higher levels of need. This space deliberately employs a continuous provision approach providing a dedicated area for language development, personalised objectives, targeted interventions (including EHCP-provision), communication and interaction groups, and focused learning areas. The room design has been created to ensure effective systems, purposeful visuals, and consistent structures that fully support communication and independence are evident and are becoming increasingly embedded. 

Empowering Staff Growth 

Staff value the high level of CPD available and the fact that this is personalised and bespoke encouraging personal growth; ELSA, level 3 Attention Autism, Musical interaction alongside the bespoke training offer available from wider professionals, such as physiotherapist and speech and language therapists (SALT). Staff could readily identify the impact of the introduction of new strategies across school and are adept at employing outcomes from pertinent training to support the needs of all pupils.
