Employability Solutions Ltd whole team shared their rigorous and relentless drive to provide the best experiences for their young people and to move year on year from strength to strength. Staff and other stakeholders at all levels were appreciative and complimentary of the top tier of leadership as all staff feel their skills are known and opportunities to use them are strategically planned. Everyone working at Employability Solutions Ltd contributes to a highly effective team and Employability Solutions is a truly outstanding, inclusive place to be part of. It is also one who shares their innovative approach to inclusive practice beyond their own walls, as they have innovative practice to share with others.  

Bespoke Pathways Thrive 

Each individual young person is accessing a bespoke learning pathway provision, a programme that blends academic continuity with therapeutic, relational and behaviour-support interventions. Staff focus them on belonging, regulation, readiness to learn and identifying unmet needs masked by behaviour. They innovate the best practice to ensure that they realise their vision for an inclusive school where their young people can take part in every aspect of school life being supported, challenged and enthused. 

Love Inspires Growth 

There is no doubt that the passion and determination from the professionals in the team leading inclusion leads the whole team to work as one and creates a totally inclusive and nurturing environment. They speak about how “love is at the heart of everything we do, there is equality and diversity for all our young people.”  Through this approach the young people develop their sense of worth and confidence and they are learning to be brave learners, inspired to gain unique skills and talents to enable them to flourish in the world of employment and their community so as to lead remarkable lives. 

Every Voice Matters 

Employability Solutions Ltd never sit on their laurels and treat all as individuals “who have a voice that needs to be heard.”  They shared how communication is at the heart of all they do. Impressive formal and carefully structured informal methodologies disseminate information as they see this as the key that allows all to access the world and people in it. It is a school that works through, or around barriers to ensure all can communicate their wishes and needs. One parent shared how “communication is warm, friendly and nothing is seen as too much trouble.” 

Celebrating Unique Potential 

Diversity and uniqueness is celebrated as focused attention is paid to the needs of all individuals. It was impressive to see that all young people take relevant academic or vocational qualifications which will support them in future employment. This is only possible through the innovative way that the professionals who see themselves as “duty bearers who ensure that every young person they care for receives their rights” have designed a rich, highly effective and ambitious curriculum which is enhanced by many visits and visitors creating a myriad of memorable learning experiences for all.
