Parkhall Integrated College is an integrated, non-selective school in Antrim Town. They actively champion inclusion throughout their ethos, policies, and admissions criteria, which reflect integrated education within Northern Ireland. The College provides a modern, inclusive learning environment that reflects both its ambition and its strong sense of community. The school’s vision is realised through a genuinely inclusive and caring learning environment, where all individuals are valued, respected, and well supported. Diversity is actively promoted and celebrated, and it is made clear that all pupils are equal and afforded equitable access to opportunities. There are high expectations, but also a strong culture of empathy.
The Senior Leadership Team members are friendly and welcoming. They each have their own roles and responsibilities but work together towards the same inclusive goals. The school has a consistent, forward-looking and inclusive approach to education. They are driven by the Senior Leadership Team. Staff share a unified vision where inclusion is central to routines, interactions, and structures. There is a commitment to being compassionate and developing a kind community and “family” atmosphere.
The College recognises the complex needs and diversity of its community and is constantly working to strengthen its ethos of effective, integrated education. All staff are involved in monitoring and evaluating delivery to ensure successful implementation of the curriculum. There is effective tracking and monitoring of impact in place, which ensures that learning translates into the best possible outcomes for pupils.
There is a clear and sustained focus on refining pedagogical practice through a strong culture of professional learning. Staff work consistently to constantly improve teaching, leading to a very responsive and inclusive classroom practice across the entirety of the college. Parkhall Integrated College delivers a broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum aligned to Northern Ireland requirements, underpinned by clear progression and a focus on key skills. Pupils benefit from appropriate levels of challenge and regular opportunities for review and tracking.

Parkhall College works in partnership with the local Education Authority to host a dedicated Hub provision, for pupils with social, behavioural and emotional needs. This provision is supported by specialise staff and is closely aligned with the school ethos and leadership values.
The careers provision is outstanding, with strategic and impartial advice. It is student-centred and links the curriculum to possible career pathways, while actively engaging employers. This allows every learner to make informed and empowered decisions about their future.
Parkhall College works to develop and harness community partnerships. They foster links across business, education, and the cultural and community sectors to provide real-world experiences. These partnerships enhance the curriculum. There is a diverse and inclusive enrichment provision, with Parkhall Youth Club offering a wide range of activities, outdoor pursuits, residential trips, and summer programmes, while the school hosts adult education and community groups.
These opportunities raise aspirations, deepen understanding of society and provide meaningful pathways beyond the classroom. Importantly, they reduce financial and social barriers, ensuring equitable access to high quality experiences for all pupils.
Parkhall Integrated College works hard to support all pupils and foster strong and supportive relationships. Congratulations on achieving IQM Centre of Excellence status.
