Workshop outline
This workshop will explore how to implement an open-ended, child led learning provision and the impact that this can have on developing a love for learning. It will explore how you can use elements of educational initiatives such as the ‘Curiosity Approach’, Hygge and Forest School to create an inviting and enriching provision.
The presenter will share the school’s approach to curriculum, through the intent and implementation model. Tangible learning examples will be shared to support understanding as well as tips for how to revamp your school’s Early Years, SEND and Key Stage 1 curricula. The workshop will prompt a reflection on the rationale which underpins the curriculum and how learning activities should be built into this.
