Sally Hamson

Sally Hamson has been involved in the teaching profession since 1994. She has been employed in numerous leadership positions culminating in becoming the Headteacher of a medium-sized Primary School in Northamptonshire.
During her time as Headteacher Sally has been awarded her NPQH, became an LLE supporting other schools in the local area and worked as a mentor for new headteachers coming into their roles. Her school also received three Ofsted inspections under her leadership and was consistently graded Good.
After 12 years as Principal Sally became Director of School Improvement for a large Trust, where she remained for four years. She then took on a new opportunity working at Milton Keynes Council as a School Improvement Partner. In this role Sally worked across a selection of schools from Local Authority to Academies.
During her career Sally has supported, coached and mentored many Headteachers, led staff and Governor CPD. She played an active part in three Ofsted inspections as a Headteacher and a further four as the Improvement Lead of the Trust within the new framework. She was also invited to shadow HMI as they completed two pilot inspections and offer her thoughts on the process.
