She leads with a vision of inclusivity and fosters a strong sense of belonging to make sure children are happy and learn in a welcoming and safe environment.
Joanne has over 30 years of experience teaching and leading in a range of good and outstanding primary schools in the north-east, and has been fortunate to experience many roles including SENDCo.

Working with other schools continues to be a key school improvement tool for Joanne and the IQM and School of Excellence status awarded has been extremely positive in connecting with schools who also share a strong ethos of inclusion.
Joanne understands what it means to work in schools where children may face many challenges and this has developed her passion to make the most of every day for every child in her care.
