Heather Whitfield
IQM Assessor
Heather Whitfield has been a Teacher for nearly 30 years. During this time, she has worked in 4 Primary Schools, across 2 Local Authorities. She is currently the Deputy Headteacher in a large Primary School, with SEND, Safeguarding and Designated Teacher for Children in Care and Post Care as her main roles.
In 2015 Heather became an Assistant Headteacher in this school just as it was beginning its IQM journey. In 2018, she was appointed Deputy Headteacher within the school and took on the lead role for IQM. She is very proud of the fact the school has achieved IQM Flagship Status twice.
Heather is passionate about sharing good practice and enjoys visiting other schools and sharing her own school experiences during IQM cluster meetings in order to gain more knowledge and expertise so that all children receive the best education possible.
