Chelsea Allen

Chelsea Allen began her teaching career on the TeachFirst programme in 2011 at Shafton ALC where she was an Associate Assistant Principal and Lead Teacher of Maths.
Moving to Outwood Academy City in 2017, Chelsea assumed a new role as Assistant Principal.
In this role she oversees attendance and also leads the implementation of a range of strategies aimed at improving the self-esteem, wellbeing, and management of all students’ behaviour. She is currently working towards her Trauma Informed Diploma with TISUK and will then lead on ensuring that the academy is a Trauma Informed School.
Chelsea is exceptionally proud that the academy she works in is currently an IQM Centre of Excellence and is on the trajectory to Flagship status.
