A passionate advocate for inclusive culture for the pupils and families she works with Alison Williams has been a SENCo since 2003. During this time she has worked within a range of year groups and settings.
She currently works in a large primary school in Crewe with high levels of deprivation, FSM and increasing numbers of EAL.
Alison was delighted to drive and embed the inclusive ethos across the school and received the IQM Inclusive School Award in 2021, it then achieved IQM’s Centre of Excellence Status in 2022.
She has been a governor at her daughter’s school and two of the schools she has worked in. Alison is committed to strategic development of SEND and inclusion. She has recently taken on the role of Maths Lead through the school and is exciting to lead a Core Subject and ensure standards are improved across the school.
